Vampire Facelift

vampire facelift imageMi Body Contour & Cosmetics has been providing cosmetic surgeries including Vampire Facelift in Troy Michigan and the Detroit area for over a decade. PRP, platelet-rich plasma, is the part of your blood that helps stop bleeding and heal wounds. PRP is FDA approved for use in orthopedic surgery, but more and more it's being used for non-surgical procedures. ... But simply getting facial injections of dermal filler and PRP does not mean it's a Vampire Facelift.

What happens during a vampire facelift?

Vampire facelifts are similar to having an injection of facial fillers, but you’ll also have your blood drawn. Your doctor will place your blood sample in a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells from the clear plasma and isolate the PRP. The activated platelets from the PRP will increase collagen production and blood flow to the treated area. After the PRP is injected under your skin, your doctor will place strategic injections of a filler, such as Juvederm.

Since skin renewal and rejuvenation is using the body's own active regeneration components, facial skin renewal is continued for about 3 months after the procedure. The overall effects of the Vampire Facelift® can last for over a year.
